We here at Travel Falklands want you to have an enjoyable and safe tour with us. We also recognise that occasionally the weather or other factors can mean that things don’t go quite as planned so to protect you and us we have a few simple terms and conditions that apply to your tour, please read the following Clear & Fair Terms & Conditions for Tours | Travel Falklands

1. The Falklands is a wild and remote place and some tours go off the beaten track and can involve walking on beaches, wet and uneven ground and up and down slopes and inclines. Please make sure that you:
   1. Wear suitable footwear and have suitable clothing to keep you dry and warm
   2. Can manage the terrain (and if in doubt please email or call us to discuss any concerns)
   3. Have any essential medication that you might need for the duration of the tour
2. Please take care of all your belongings that you bring on the tour with you. Whilst we are happy for you to leave things on the bus while we are on the tour we cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage that might occur to your items.
3. We enjoy taking people on tours and we will treat you with courtesy and respect at all times. We expect you to treat our guides and drivers in the same way. If anyone is abusive or aggressive toward our staff then you may be asked to leave the tour and no refund will be given in those circumstances.
4. Our driver or guide may take pictures of the tour which we may use for publicity and marketing purposes. If you do not want us to take pictures where you may be present then please tell us.
5. If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather or because the cruise ship cancels it’s visit to the Falklands then you are entitled to a refund*. The refund* will be minus 10% to accommodate for bank and admin charges. If this happens, please contact us to request a refund on [email protected].

6. If, after paying for your tour, you decide that you no longer wish to take part, you are welcome to cancel your booking provided you notify us at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time. When cancellations are made within this timeframe, we will refund the full cost of your tour, minus a 10% administrative fee. This small deduction covers unavoidable processing costs such as banking charges, booking system fees and the time required to manage and update your reservation.

   Giving us at least 72 hours’ notice allows us enough time to adjust our schedules, reallocate guides and vehicles, and offer your place to other travellers who may be waiting. We appreciate early communication, as it helps us run our tours smoothly and ensures fairness for both our guests and our team.

   Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the tour begins are not eligible for a refund, as resources will already have been committed to delivering your experience. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you promptly and process your refund efficiently.

7. If we have to cancel the tour we will give you a full refund of what you have paid in according to our Clear & Fair Terms & Conditions for Tours | Travel Falklands
8. In the unlikely event of a breakdown or accident whilst on the tour we will use our best endeavours to continue with the tour by alternative means or if that is not possible then we will offer you a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances and whether the tour promised to you has been delivered.
9. When you make your booking, we will treat all personal information you provide with the highest level of confidentiality. Your details will only be used for essential operational purposes, such as contacting you about your tour, confirming arrangements, or providing important updates. We will never share your data with third parties unless required by law, or where disclosure is necessary to ensure your safety or fulfil the services you have requested. All information is stored securely, handled responsibly, and managed in accordance with applicable data‑protection standards to give you confidence and peace of mind when booking with Travel Falklands.
